Guest: The Confused Greenies Patchwork Players

The Confused Greenies began to form in spring 2006, influenced by several earlier Commedia dell'Arte performances in the Society for Creative Anachronism and entertainment for La Dolce Vita's annual Carnevale night at Case Western Reserve University. Beginning as a student group at CWRU, the troupe also soon became affiliated with the local SCA and became the headline entertainment at Carnevale and JapanCASE's twice-yearly Anime Marathon. By 2009, The Confused Greenies performed dozens of times a year and attended conventions and other events often with parody productions. In addition to commedia, they perform stylized Japanese kyōgen, Victorian and steampunk harlequinade, and modern day pieces, such as science-fiction and anime plots, becoming more players of devised and improvisational (dev/improv) than pure commedia. In 2011 the troupe celebrated both its 5th anniversary and its 100th performance.
